The Department of Science was established in the year 2002 to cater to the needs of global challenges. It offers highly enterprising undergraduate programme (B.Sc) leading to various courses.

 B.Sc Program offers three groups.

 Group 1: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry

Group 2: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

Group 3: Computer Science , Physics and Mathematics.

 Department possesses adequate infrastructure, well equipped laboratories with 65 computers and Full-Time teachers to meet the curriculum requirements. In a very short span of its existence, department has earned the reputation as one of the best learning centres.

The department encourages students to demonstrate creative talents based on realistic approaches. An all-round development of student is aimed at with emphasis on the computer application. Students are given enough scope to develop innovative ideas and creative thinking by executing the project during their last semester.

All the teachers are involved in Research. Apart from the regular teaching the department also has Teaching Assistants, Guest Lecturers and other supporting administrative staff to meet departmental activities. Many students have joined renowned research institutes and Universities for their higher studies.
