Indraprastha New Arts, Commerce & Science College, Wardha  Social Work  Department Professional Social Work Education in India has become a challenge and a highly scientific discipline due to the ever increasing problems and the developmental needs of the country. Based on sound theoretical knowledge, well developed techniques and skills, the training aims at the formation of committed and expert professionals in the field of Social Work. The philosophy of Social Work is the worth and dignity of human being. Equality, justice and development are its focal points. Social Work as a helping process is inculcated through class-room teaching and field training.

Indraprastha New Arts, Commerce & Science College, Wardha  Social Work  Department  is established under the auspices of Mahila Vikas Sanstha's., Wardha which is a premier, nongovernmental, philanthropic organization in central India devoted and dedicated to the field of social work training and education especially among the people belonging to the lower strata of society. So far, the college has trained thousands of young men and women in professional social work discipline to help people to help themselves Indraprastha New Arts, Commerce & Science College, Wardha  Social Work  Department is affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University. Established in 2004 it is recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra vide Govt.
