Traditionally, the Science stream has been a popular choice for the students, as it offers several exciting and lucrative opportunities to the students. Faculty of science opens avenues for professional scientific courses at graduation and post-graduate level. As a science stream student, you will be involved in the systematic scientific study of natural occurrences through observation, theoretical study as well as application study and experimentation.  Science stream is the most popular and preferred career stream among the students. The main reason behind the popularity of this stream is that it opens up several lucrative career opportunities for the students in the future. The career scope for students after picking the science stream for high school is quite vast, especially because, they can also opt for non-science subjects or domains such as business, journalism and others in the future as well.

 

The Department of Science was inaugurated in the year 2005 with the inception of the college. It comprises five divisions namely Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and  Biotechnology. The Unique strength of the department is its excellent coordination in carrying out the academic responsibilities effectively. It caters to the requirements of the society. It visions to transform the younger generation into responsible voters and aspires to lead the budding engineers towards the path of success. The department has a separate block which includes state-of-the-art infrastructure. It seeks to sustain and enhance excellence in an institution of higher learning of Technology. It is committed to produce competent graduates with the suitable skill required for industry and market place adding to provide better communication skills and societal obligations.
