Chemical Societyfor the academic year
2019-2020 was inaugurated in the digital conference hall of NACSC on 22.01.2020
by lighting the lamp. The chief guest of the function was Dr. Seshrao Bawankar,
Assistant Professor (Retired), J.B. College of Science, Wardha. In his speech
he addressed the issues regarding sustainable development using various aspects
of green chemistry. The inaugural address was given by Dr. Ashish Sasankar ,
Principal, NACSC and the presidential address was delivered by Mr.
Chandrashekhar Ugemuge, President of the chemical society. Dr. Sasankar urged
the students to use their knowledge of chemistry for the betterment of society
and to conduct activities which will be beneficial to them and also have
involvement of the society around. Prof. Tejiswini Ingole motivated the
students by her speech and Ms. Vrushali Khobe (M.Sc. I) opened an enthusiastic
and encouraging world of chemistry by her words. The programme was conducted by
Ms. Achal Godbole (B.Sc. III) and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Sweety
Moharkar (M.Sc. I).
The
newly elected members of the chemical society were also given a warm welcome in
the programme. All the teaching staff and UG and PG students were present
during the programme.
