celebration of Women’s Day

Attendee: Kanchan Bhoyar mam, Dr.Ashish Sasankar sir, Sabane Mam ,Yerne mam and all faculty member.

Organized by:department of mathematics &department of computer science.

Introduction: The Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2025, aimed to honor the achievements of women and promote gender equality. The event featured various activities, including speeches, panel discussions, and cultural performances. The Chief Guest of this program was Ex. Adv. Anuradha Sabane and Miss. Manali Sabane present to promote and motivate to all girls students.

 

Highlights of the Event:

 

1.      Opening Ceremony:

o    The event commenced with a welcome address by the organizer, highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day.

o    Prof. Kanchan Bhoyar delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of empowering women in all spheres of life.

2.      Panel Discussion:

o    A panel comprising successful women from various fields discussed challenges faced by women and strategies for overcoming them.

o    Topics included gender equality in the workplace, education, and health rights.

3.      Cultural Performances:

o    The celebration featured dance and music performances that celebrated women’s contributions to culture and society.

o    Local artists showcased their talent, promoting the theme of empowerment and resilience.

4.      Recognition Ceremony:

o    Awards were given to outstanding women in the community who have made significant contributions to social causes.

o    Vikram Nehval presented awards, applauding the honorees for their dedication and impact.

5.      Interactive Workshops:

o    Workshops were held on various topics, including self-defense, financial literacy, and mental health, aimed at equipping women with essential skills.

 

Conclusion: The Women’s Day celebration was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and commitment to gender equality. Yerne Mam participation and insights contributed significantly to the event's impact, inspiring attendees to advocate for women’s rights and empowerment.

 

Recommendations:

·         Consider organizing follow-up events to maintain momentum and continue discussions on women's issues.

·         Increase outreach to involve more community members in future celebrations.
