The Mathematics Day celebration at
Indraprastha New Arts, Commerce, and Science College was held with great
enthusiasm to honor the birth anniversary of the renowned mathematician
Srinivasa Ramanujan. This day serves as a reminder of the significant contributions
made by Ramanujan to the field of mathematics and inspires students to explore
the beauty and logic of this subject.
The event was attended by HOD Bharti Yerne
Ma’am, Neval Sir, and other distinguished staff members, along with
an enthusiastic gathering of students.
The program began with a warm welcome by the
event coordinator, who set the tone for the day by highlighting the importance
of mathematics in daily life and its transformative role in various fields of
study.
HOD Bharti Yerne Ma’am delivered an
inspiring speech about Srinivasa Ramanujan’s life and achievements, emphasizing
his brilliance and dedication to mathematics despite limited formal education. Neval
Sir followed with an engaging talk on the practical applications of
mathematics, encouraging students to approach the subject with curiosity and
enthusiasm.
The celebration featured several interactive
and engaging activities, including:

The event concluded with a prize distribution
ceremony, where winners of the competitions were awarded certificates and tokens
